Physical Appearance: Tiffy, as she prefers to be called, is a tall, thin
woman standing at 5’10" and weighing in at 130 pounds. Her outstanding
feature is her eyes.
Personality: Tiffany likes people. She enjoys many friends and did some
community work while in high school. Tiffany has a perky personality and never
seems to have a down or off moment. Her peers say that her smile can change
their bad mood in seconds.
History: Mary Louise Washington met Martin Allen Rivers while they were
both students at Rutgers University. They both eventually earned Ph.D.’s and
became full-time, tenured professors at the University of Arizona. Mary Louise
taught Literature and Art while Martin taught Mathematics and Quantum Physics.
Tiffany was born in May of 2292. It was Mary Louise’s decision to give
birth at home. She was in great health and had a dislike for hospitals.
"Missy," as they nicknamed her, was the light of their lives and they
doted on her.
Martin and Mary Louise taught their daughter to read at an early age. By the
time Tiffany started school she was way ahead of the other children. This caused
some problems for her and set her apart from the other kids. A school counselor’s
private talk with the parents made them acknowledge that they were pushing their
child’s learning too fast.
Tiffany was popular in high school and attended all of the games, dances and
played piccolo in the school band.
Tiffany’s decision to join Starfleet Academy after high school didn’t set
well with her parents. They had hoped she would attend University of Arizona and
live at home. Being the only child, her parents were very strict where she was
concerned. After Missy entered the academy, they were very supportive and
visited her often in San Francisco.
Tiffany Rivers graduated four years later with a degree in psychology and
recreation. She chose a career that would involve working with people.
LTJG Tiffany Rivers was assigned to the USS PHOENIX to replace Melissa Wells.
