Physical Appearance: Mary is tall and willowy. She has long and curly red hair and it’s worn in braid when she is on duty but otherwise she wears it loose. Her hands are long and slender and her complexion is pale.

Personality: Mary is shy when she first meets people but when she gets to know them she is very out going. She Loves music and plays harp. She has a lot of compassion for people that are suffering.

History: Mary grew up on the banks of Loch Lomen in Scotland. At an early age a lot of people noticed that she had a great deal of compassion for beings that were suffering so it was inevitable that she became a nurse. Being the oldest of six children she was often taken care of Children that were smaller than her. She graduated with honors from her local high school and went to college to pursue her degree in nursing. After she graduated she worked for several years in small rural hospital throughout Scotland but felt that there was more that she could be doing to help people in need so she went back to school and became a Nurse Practitioner and chose orthopedics as her specialty. When she finished school she joined Starfleet where the Phoenix is her first posting.
