Personality: Lieutenant Knight is normally very friendly and outgoing. He is, however, nopt the type to organize or be very comfortable at large gatherings. He can be sarcastic, and sometimes his humor is a little dark but he is the kind of person who you can always count on to do the right thing or give help when needed. Lt. Knight can be quite competitive, especially when it comes to martial arts or blade weapons.

History: Chris was born on the Utopia Colony on Mars. Both of his parents were civilian consultants at Starfleet’s Utopia Planitia. Chris started mixed martial arts at the age of 3 and achieved his first black belt at the age of 9. When he was 14 his mother was killed in an industrial accident. Although he was very strong in the martial arts, when Chris went to Starfleet Academy his primary focus was on communications. He learned to speak Vulcan and Klingon fluently. Chris loved the idea of communicating with new species and learning new things. Chris won several martial arts tournaments while at the academy but did not distinguish himself in any other way.

As an Ensign Chris was assigned to the USS Archer; He was the Beta watch commutations officer. From the Archer, Chris went to the Lexington. While serving there he met LT j.g. Renee Huberman , a security officer. The two fell in love and were married. Renee was recruited by a clandestine branch of Starfleet Intelligence. Chris transferred to the Excelsior under the command of Hikaru Sulu. On a disastrous away mission Chris fought alongside Deputy Security Chief Leonard James Akaar. After watching how Chris performed, Akaar convinced Chris and Security Chief Gavin that Chris belonged in security. Chris was promoted to LT jg. Chris flourished on Excelsior and his wife had their first son. Chris was a part of the Khitomer Accords mission where Captain Sulu chose to violate orders. Chris backed his Captain’s decision 100%. Chris was made part of an officer exchange and he served under Brigadier Kerla for two years. Kerla and Chris thwarted an assassination attempt against Chancellor Azetbur. Chris was the first non-Klingon to be made a member of the Order of the Bat’leth. Chris was struck on the cheek by a Klingon D’Ktahg. Chris kept the scar to remind himself to always check Klingons (and others) for concealed weapons once he disarms their primary weapons. Chris was going to return to the Excelsior when he was informed that his wife was killed on a clandestine mission shortly after the birth of their second son. Chris took a teaching position at the academy until his second son was old enough to start school. Chris placed the care of his sons with his father and his father’s new wife and joined the crew of the Phoenix. Chris coms his sons daily and spends all leave time with them. Chris’s oldest son has discovered a old form of music known as Rock n’ Roll. Chris and James spend their time translating the songs of a group called the Beatles into Klingon.
