Physical Appearance: Lean and athletic, Chase has blonde hair that he keeps close cropped on the sides and just long enough on top to be unruly. His eyes are dark blue and are sometimes mistaken for green. He has a youthful demeanor and his motions are both fluid and energetic. He often appears lost in thought.

Personality: Chase takes his job very seriously and he loves being a member of Starfleet. If he works hard, however, he plays even harder. He enjoys trips to exotic locations, drinking intoxicants and exploring the nightlife in whatever port he finds himself. On duty, Chase is all business and seeks to distinguish himself amongst his peers. He is slow to make close friends and is relatively introspective though when he is with people that he feels comfortable around, he is quick to laugh and slow to take offense. His peers at work often think he takes himself too seriously. Close personal friends know different.

Other Pertinent Data: Chase, despite his friendly and amicable demeanor, has been prone to fits of anger that have led to rage when faced with confrontation. It is not something he is proud of, but he does not hide it either. It is well documented in his medical log and personnel file.

History: Chase was born on Earth in New York. From a young age he longed to leave home and explore the stars. He enrolled in Starfleet Academy as soon as he was able and graduated in the middle of his class. He went on to serve on the USS Potemkin and the USS Lexington prior to accepting a post on the Phoenix. He has wandered a lot in his career seeking posts that offered more adventure and excitement. His wanderlust if fueled by a healthy appreciation of "adventure" stories from any culture. His hope is to find a long time berth onboard the USS PHOENIX.
